Just a thought

Watched Ghajini on the bus to Cochin. Hated it.. every hair on my body stood up in shock and protest at Aamir Khan's ridiculous pean to himself.

And then something occured to me.

How did Sanjay Singhania know that he had to write down everything? Sanjay Singhania cant remember anything for more than 15 mins. Now he could not have possibly known about his memory problem before 15 minutes elapsed. But after that, how did he remember what happened to him and Kalpana??

Dunno if anybody else has thought of this. All possible explainations are welcome.

c i dont want to b very specific, but if u'd ve listened to wht the doc says in the movie, he doesnt forget everything, it affects only the memory part, but he continues his usual habits, like he also brushes, eats, etc..!! and similarly writing down stuff is a part of his habit cycle, else thr wudnt b much sense in the protagonists role..!! c'mon u think aamir and director murugadoss r so dumb no to have thgt thru it..!! :P again aamir is a perfectionist, thr's a reason y he is called one..!!

U would understand if u see the english version ... MEMENTO

Gypsy said...

Abhay: Thank you!! :D I will definitely watch that movie

Harish: Yes I know he hasnt forgotten everything. but he has certainly forgotten that part about Kalpana, which is why he had to remind himself by tattooing it on his chest.

my question is, how did he realize that he had forgotten it in the first place?I mean, when he recovered consciousness after having his skull cracked open, there was nobody to tell him "Boss,by the way, Kalpana was killed and you will forget this, so write it down somewhere"

Now I've GOT to watch Memento! :D

i cant believe am doing this, nevertheless, c thr has to b someone who wud ve told him about wht happn'd..!! and tattooing thing, he must ve come up with tht..!! thr's also a reason y he is staying in tht apartment while he has bungalow at his disposal..!! availability of such loyal followers cud be debatable..!! hwever, I feel he must ve narrated the incidents, as u wud ve noticed tht his manager is some1 with he shared most of the stuffs..!!

Everything can happen in out great Indian cinema..If you by chance have seen super duper Rajnikant stunts this is smaller dose to digest.

Praveen: You know what... you're right. I guess i assumed Aamir the perfectionist would have seen though this.. but maybe rules of The Great Indian Cinema supercede everything else
